Wyoming

We went on a road-trip out west during June and July 2019. Wyoming was our second stop, and we visited Yellowstone National Park as well as Jackson Hole. Here is a video of some of our time there.

Wyoming is a fantastic destination with a variety of attractions and activities to suit different interests. Here are some top recommendations:

Yellowstone National Park: This iconic park is known for its geothermal features, including Old Faithful and the Grand Prismatic Spring. It’s also home to diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.

Grand Teton National Park: Located just south of Yellowstone, this park offers breathtaking mountain scenery, hiking trails, and opportunities for wildlife viewing.

Devils Tower National Monument: This unique geological formation is a must-see. You can hike around the base or, if you’re adventurous, try climbing its vertical columns.

Jackson Hole: This charming town is a gateway to outdoor adventures, including skiing in the winter and hiking, fishing, and rafting in the summer. It’s also known for its vibrant arts scene and great dining options.

Buffalo Bill Center of the West: Located in Cody, this museum complex offers a deep dive into the history and culture of the American West.

Historic Trails West: Experience the life of early pioneers with a covered wagon trek or a ride along the Pony Express Trail in Casper.

Hot Springs State Park: Relax in the natural hot springs in Thermopolis, which are known for their therapeutic properties.

Wind River Range: For those who love hiking and backpacking, this mountain range offers some of the most scenic and challenging trails in the state.
